Database: Updated Daily - Content is separate
from logic
Our database is updated daily. Not only
we add items that were just released, but we also
add the foods users searched the day before and did
not find.
We do not use data entered by users. We
have a nutritional staff that adds information and
verify each item before it reaches production. Your
data and your users data ARE ALWAYS YOURS. The fact
we have a team in charge of the database shows the
care and level of quality we deliver to our
partners.
Although we have over 50,000 items,
and we add new data daily, we do
not consider this number our best asset. We believe
that more important than the number of foods in a
database are the
tools that allows users to use them easily. Our
technology allow our team to update data daily, adding
or correcting any information in real-time.
Besides of providing a large database
of foods in terms of quantity, we also provide very
unique types of data. We carry
recipes from dishes common in ethnic restaurants,
fast food restaurants, branded foods and international
foods for the markets we operate in.
Why we are different:
Nutrihand is the only platform available
today, that was built with a separation between
content and logic. This is a great advantage,
because we can customize the data per partner.
For
our platform, content means: articles, meal plans,
foods, fitness plans, exercises, health assessments
and educational quizzes. All can be customized for a
partner, and made available only to their customers.
Our library of meal plans
provides more than 1000 templates covering
9 caloric levels, 6 cuisines and 9 health
conditions. You can use them and customize them any
way you like.
If we do not have what you are looking
for, not a problem. We can develop it for you!
Meal

Disease Management or Wellness Programs specifically
built for your population.
Partners can access our database using XML services,
through our co-branded hosted infrastructure or
delivered on a CD (although this last media type
does not allow for automatic daily updates).
If you
develop an application using our platform, database
and/or services, and want any user data we collect,
you can have that data too. Our entire service is
accessible using a number of interfaces to
facilitate data communication.
