USE WEBSERVICES TO CREATE YOUR APPLICATION
Some partners do not want to "reinvent the whee" but want to deliver their own experience for their customers.
They want to create their applications in detail, or sometimes they want to use just a small part of our platform like our food nutritional facts, or our calculators.
Our XML interface provides those services. Partners can develop their own applications or ask us to develop for them. In either case, the intellectual property created, belongs to our partner and not to Nutrihand.
It is the same principle generally known today of purchasing or licensing an existing "server platform" to develop applications on top of that platform. The right to the application belongs to the partner while the rights to the underlying product, the platform, to the vendor who created it.
A number of our partners use this approach. Some created a full application, while some just access some of our tools, such as BMI calculator, Fitness Caloric Burn Out Calculator and so on.
This approach is also used, when the partner already has a web site with an application and want to use one of our modules, such as Meals. They can read the data from our application and use it in their application. The possibilities of combined approaches using XML and hosted services is really unlimited.
